What webuild on
We pick the platform to fit the task, not out of habit — but the default is OpenCart: most of the stores in our portfolio run on it, and that's where we have measured numbers.
OpenCart 4.x
The default for new stores. Current core, PHP 8 support, an updated event system.
OpenCart 3.x
When a critical module isn't adapted for 4.x yet — console price imports, feeds to marketplaces, specific builds. We verify the list at the start.
Next.js
When you need custom logic or a storefront on top of a third-party API. Corporate sites and landing pages mostly live here.
We also work with WordPress / WooCommerce on inherited projects — all visible in the portfolio.
