The Horoshop pricing page has four cards with amounts. The amount on each card is accurate, but it is only the lower bound. What you will actually pay for Horoshop is determined by two counters and a few features that exist only in the higher plans. Below is a breakdown based on the horoshop.ua pricing page as of October 14, 2026, and at the end, when it makes sense to keep renting and when renting starts to cost more than your own code.
Horoshop pricing plans: what the cards say
Prices include VAT and are in hryvnias per month. Annual billing gives a 20% discount; Basic is available only with annual billing.
The platform does not take a commission on sales: the page says "0% sales commission." Hosting and an SSL certificate are included in the subscription fee. There is a free 7-day trial; for Basic it is available only with annual billing.
With annual billing, that comes to 3,456 UAH for Basic, 9,792 UAH for Standard, 20,736 UAH for Pro, and 40,320 UAH for B2B — arithmetic from the cards, not counting limit overages or a one-time designer fee.
Extra costs come up when a feature you need sits one step higher — according to the comparison table on the same page:
- Basic already includes inventory tracking, Nova Poshta integration, online payment, receipt fiscalization, and export to Prom and Hotline.
- Standard unlocks export to Rozetka and Kasta, Google Merchant Center, Facebook Feed, reports, product quantity multiples and minimum order, as well as PrivatBank and monobank installment payments.
- Pro adds an API, quantity-based wholesale prices, hiding the platform logo, and, something easy to miss, signing of a contract and acceptance acts. If your accounting department needs a signed contract and acts with the platform, start your math from Pro.
- B2B: price types, customer groups, and a dealer account and price list are in B2B.
As for design, setting up one of the ready-made designs yourself is included in every plan. Professional setup by a designer costs 6,000 UAH as a one-time payment on monthly plans, comes free on annual plans, and is available from Standard up.
The counters that drive the bill
Pro and B2B have a volume selector on the page, and the price in it grows with the chosen limit. Below are the selector values for monthly billing:
Whether the 20% annual discount applies to these extended volumes is not spelled out on the page, so treat these values as an upper estimate.
The note on limits says products are counted as the average number over the previous billing period including variants. If a dress model in five sizes and three colors is set up with variants, up to fifteen items may end up in the counter; check with support how the platform counts combinations. We have already seen "a few thousand models" turn into 115,456 product items in a lingerie store on OpenCart, and we described this estimation trap in detail in our breakdown of store costs across 24 measurements.
The order limit on all four plans is 1,000 per month; on Pro and B2B it can be raised to 10,000. Going over it does not shut the store down: the store keeps running, and the plan is recalculated after the period ends. In other words, a seasonal peak can raise your plan for the next period. How exactly the product and order counters combine when both are exceeded is not spelled out on the page — that is worth asking support before you subscribe.
What to check yourself before reading Horoshop reviews
Other people's reviews of the platform describe other people's stores. It is more useful to go through your own list, because the answers to it depend on your catalog:
- Count your items including variants. This number determines which step you will be on a year from now.
- Look at your peak month for orders, because the limit is counted monthly.
- Check your pricing against the plan. Quantity-based wholesale prices are available from Pro; customer groups and the dealer account are listed under B2B in the comparison table. We did not find any mention of multiple warehouses with different prices for the same product on the plan and feature pages; if you have a second warehouse, ask support directly.
- Ask in what form they will hand over your data if you leave: products, orders, customers, history. We have not checked this, and it is worth having the answer in writing.
- Compare the technical side with other platforms. How we measured stores on Prom, Horoshop, and OpenCart from the outside, and what such a measurement does not show — in our comparison of 43 stores.
The 7-day trial is enough to go through these points on your own catalog.
When renting remains the better deal
This is written in the description of our own product as well: if you have one warehouse, a few hundred products, and no plans for wholesale pricing or custom development, you do not need your own code. Custom development will not beat Basic at 3,456 UAH per year (billed annually) with hosting, SSL, automatic updates, and support: first you have to pay for it, and then you still have to keep a server and a person to administer it. The same applies when you are only testing a niche and do not know whether there will be demand.
When it is worth pricing out your own code instead of renting
The math changes when the step up is dictated by the structure of your business. A typical scenario: dealers need price groups, which means B2B; a catalog with variants goes past 50,000, and the B2B selector for 100,000 products shows 6,720 UAH per month on monthly billing; order volume grows in season. The payment comes every month for as long as the store runs: 6,720 UAH is 80,640 UAH per year and 241,920 UAH over three years. Whether annual billing at this volume would reduce that amount, the page does not explain, so this is an upper estimate. That is the figure to compare the one-time cost of your own engine against. The store lives on a platform you pay for every month; how exactly they hand over the data and the theme when you leave is worth asking in writing.
The second boundary is logic that is not in the settings. Multiple warehouses where the same SKU has a different purchase cost, price, stock level, and delivery time are a task for the core; a toggle in the settings cannot solve it. Why a single product price breaks once a second warehouse appears, we covered in a separate article.
For this case we build Stable Shop — LIONEX's own store engine on Laravel. Multiple warehouses each with its own price and stock, customer groups and wholesale price tiers, personal prices per item, and minimum order amounts work in the core; every stock movement is written as a separate row with the author and time. The source code and data stay on your server; the payment model is a one-time purchase of the engine, and the alternative is rental on our hosting. Any Laravel developer can extend it. On the production site of an auto parts store, the first response of the home page on May 19, 2026 was 167 ms. This is a measurement of a specific production site with a specific configuration; on another server the numbers may be different, and they are not a promise.
What it does not have yet: cart reservation with a timer, import from OpenCart, extension points for third-party developers, and an English version of the storefront. Rozetka Delivery and Meest are still stubs. There is no public price, as with the rest of our work; we give an estimate after a review. Details are on the Stable Shop page.
How to calculate your own case
Take the cost of your future plan, accounting for variants and peak orders, and multiply it by 12 and by the number of years you plan to run the store. That is your benchmark. The second figure is an estimate for your own engine including catalog migration, hosting, support, and custom development, and it cannot be named honestly without your catalog.
That is why we offer a free catalog review: we look at your product export, warehouses, price groups, and integrations and come back with a stage-by-stage estimate within 1–3 business days. If the review shows you are better off staying on Horoshop, we will say so in our first email. If moving makes sense, how it starts is described on the page about migrating from Horoshop, and what your own platform gives you is on the page about a store on its own platform. The work is done under a contract, with a 30-calendar-day warranty from the date the acceptance act is signed, and we respond within two hours.
