A fitness club website: this week's schedule and the membership price without a phone call

People choose a club by three things: whether there are classes at a time that suits them, how much a membership costs and whether they can come and try. A site that answers this straight away wins over one where a callback form stands in place of the schedule. We build a site where the schedule is up to date and easy to read on a phone, prices are open, and signing up for a trial class takes a minute.

Situations where this service delivers results

Scenario 1 of 4

A club with group classes

The schedule changes every week, and sometimes mid-week. If updating it requires a developer, the site quickly stops matching reality — and customers turn up for a canceled class.

We'll review your situation in a free audit
What's included

Complete list of work and what you get as a result

  • a class schedule with class type, trainer, room and time, easy to read on a phone
  • schedule management on your side — without contacting a developer
  • membership and single-visit prices shown openly
  • trial class sign-up with a minimum of fields
  • booking a spot in a class, if the number of participants is limited
  • trainer pages with their class types and class schedule
  • local business markup: address, opening hours and phone number as data
  • requests forwarded to where they are handled: a messenger, email or the club's system
  • handover with a description of how to change the schedule, prices and trainers
When this service isn't right

What's not included — so there are no surprises at delivery

  • creating training programs and any advice on training loads
  • photographing the gym and trainers
  • the administrator's work after a sign-up is received
  • promises of the number of customers or search positions
  • replacing your membership management system, if you use one
A free review of your task

We look at what decides things in this niche: an up-to-date schedule, open prices and easy access to a trial class.

What we measure

  • How the schedule is updatedIf changing a class time means writing to a developer, the schedule will go out of date faster than you notice.
  • Whether membership prices are visible“Price by phone” costs you some of your inquiries. We look at what can be stated openly and what really depends on the terms.
  • How the schedule reads on a phoneA table covering seven days and ten class types on a small screen is a task in its own right, and this is where most sites in the niche are inconvenient.
  • Whether there is trial class sign-upA trial class is the main way into a club. If people have to call during working hours to book one, some of them will never get there.
  • Whether places in groups are limitedIf so, booking is needed; otherwise more people turn up for a class than can fit.
  • What your local visibility is likeWe check the address, opening hours and local business markup — the same things we measured on sites in this niche.

What you get

  • a list of what drives inquiries in the niche, with the reasons explained
  • a proposed site structure for your schedule
  • an estimate of the work broken down by stage
  • an honest answer on whether you need a new site

Timeline: 2–4 working days

Why is it free

A site for a single-discipline studio and a site for a chain of gyms with spot booking differ in scope several times over. Without a review, any figure would be guesswork.

What affects the price

Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • Schedule complexityOne room and five class types make a simple table. Several rooms, changing trainers and recurring classes with exceptions mean separate schedule logic.
  • Whether spot booking is neededTrial class sign-up is a simple form. Booking a spot in a class requires tracking occupancy, cancellations and a waiting list if places run out.
  • Number of gymsA chain adds linking schedules and trainers to addresses, choosing a gym when signing up and separate local markup for each.
  • Whether there is a management systemIf memberships are managed in a system, the site should work with it rather than duplicate it — otherwise the two schedules will diverge.
  • Content managementYour administrator should be the one changing the schedule. Convenient management is separate work, but without it the site will be out of date within two weeks.
  • Volume of photosPhotos of the gym and classes matter for the decision, but they are also what most often makes a site slow. Preparing images is a separate stage.
Process steps

Transparent stages with approval at every step

Total duration:15–45 days

  1. Reviewing the task

    2–4 working days

We look at how the schedule is organized, whether prices are open and whether spot booking is needed. The result is a site structure and an estimate.

  2. Schedule structure

    2–5 working days

We design how to show classes: by day, by class type or by trainer, and how it will read on a phone. This is also where we set the rules for recurring classes.

  3. Building the site

    8–25 working days

We build the homepage, the schedule, class type and trainer pages, and membership prices. We work in a test environment.

  4. Sign-ups and booking

    3–10 working days

We connect trial class sign-up and, if needed, booking a spot in a class with tracking of occupancy and cancellations.

  5. Local visibility

    1–3 working days

We add local business markup with the address, hours and phone number, and check the data against the club's profile on maps.

  6. Launch and handover

    1–3 working days

We roll out the site, check the first sign-ups and hand over instructions for changing the schedule and prices. After that the 30-day warranty applies from the date the acceptance act is signed.

Tasks and results in numbers — all metrics measured by us

a sample of 5 Ukrainian websites in the “fitness” niche

Task
Find out the real state of websites in the fitness niche rather than the state their owners describe: the technical base, measurement and site size.
Solution
An external measurement with no access to anyone's admin panels: time to first response as the median of several measurements, the catalog from the sitemap with duplicate URLs removed, counters in the homepage HTML, the PHP version from the headers, hreflang, TLS, robots.txt and the canonical URL.
Result
Measured on 17 September 2026: 5 Ukrainian websites in the “fitness” niche were checked. 5 of 5 have no structured data; 5 of 5 have no breadcrumb markup; 5 of 5 have no local business markup; 3 of 5 have no canonical URL on the homepage. Median first response time: 154.9 ms; median sitemap size: 43 URLs.
What we need from you

We can't start without this — best to prepare in advance

  1. the class schedule with class types, trainers and rooms
  2. membership and single-visit prices
  3. whether the number of places in groups is limited
  4. whether there is a membership management system and whether the site can integrate with it
  5. addresses, opening hours and contacts
  6. who on your side accepts the work

If something is missing — let us know, we'll help you gather it or do it as a separate task.

FAQ

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

Should we show membership prices?

Yes, and this is one of the few things in the niche where the answer is clear-cut. “Price by phone” filters people out before they even call: they simply go to a club where the price is written. If you have a complex discount system, it is enough to show the basic options and explain what the rest depends on.

How do we keep the schedule from going out of date?

It should be editable in your admin panel in a minute, without contacting a developer. This is the main requirement for a fitness club website: the schedule is the most frequently changed content, and if updating it is inconvenient, it will be out of date within two weeks no matter how well everything else is done.

Do we need spot booking for group classes?

Yes, if the number of places is limited; otherwise more people turn up for a class than can fit, and someone goes home. If the groups are large and never overflow, a schedule is enough: booking would add work for the administrator with no benefit.

Do you guarantee more customers?

No. The site removes obstacles for those who are already looking for a club: it shows the schedule and prices and lets people sign up for a trial. But the decision to attend depends on the gym, the trainers and the location, and promising figures here would be dishonest.

We have a membership management system — will the site replace it?

It should not. If the system suits you, the site should lead to it or take the schedule from it, not duplicate it. Two independent schedules will diverge sooner or later, and you would have to fix that in front of a live customer.

How long does development take?

15 to 46 working days. Most of the time goes into the schedule: it has to be designed so that it reads well on a phone and is easy to update. We give the exact timeline after the review.

Can we write about training programs on the site?

Describing the class types, the format of the classes and who they suit, yes. But the site does not give specific recommendations on training loads: that is your trainer's job, and neither you nor we should put that responsibility on a web page.

Who owns the site after the work?

You do. The property rights to the code, design and materials pass to the client after full payment, and the result is handed over under an acceptance act. The domain, hosting and analytics are registered in your name from the very start.

  • We work under a contract

There is no price list on the site on purpose: the same work differs several times over between two clients, and a “from” figure explains nothing in that case. First a free audit — we count your pages, duplicates and speed — then we name the sum and the deadline and fix both in the contract.
