Store support: so that the problem is noticed by us, not by your buyer

Support for an online store is not needed when the site is down - then it's already too late. He is needed so that this does not happen. On July 31, 2026, we took technical indicators from 24 live stores and saw a typical picture: five of them are running PHP 7.3.33, the version without support since December 2021; on one there is an analyst who has not collected data since July 2023; for a few more, the site map is bloated with duplicates. None of the owners knew about it.

Process steps

Transparent stages with approval at every step

Total duration:1–30 days

  1. Technical inspection

    2-3 days

We see the state of the store: versions, copies, analytics, indexing, errors.

  2. Plan for the first month

    1 day

We divide what we found into "close now", "close planned" and "do not touch". We coordinate the composition of the season ticket.

  3. Normalization

    5–20 days

Copies, monitoring, updates of critical. This is the most difficult month - then there is steady work.

  4. Regular cycle

    monthly

Monthly: Checks, window updates, minor edits, report with what's found.

What's included

Complete list of work and what you get as a result

  • Availability monitoring: if the site goes down, the message comes to us, not from the buyer in Viber.
  • Scheduled backups—and more importantly, regularly checking to restore from them. A copy that has never been recovered from is not a copy, but a hope.
  • Updating the platform and modules in the agreed window, with the possibility of rolling back.
  • Fixing minor defects within subscription hours: broken links, checkout errors, minor content edits.
  • Time tracking: domain, certificate, module licenses. An expired domain costs more than an annual subscription.
  • Checking that integrations are live: payment goes through, invoices are created, feed is released.
  • Monthly report: what was done, what was found, what should be done next and why.
  • The fixed response time for an accident is specified in the contract, not in the correspondence.
When this service isn't right

What's not included — so there are no surprises at delivery

  • New functionality and major improvements — they are counted separately, otherwise the subscription turns into unlimited.
  • Filling the catalog, copywriting and working with content.
  • Advertising campaigns and SEO promotion as a service.
  • Responsibility for the work of other people's services: if a payment gateway or carrier goes down, we will see it and notify you, but we cannot fix it.
Who it's for

Situations where this service delivers results

Scenario 1 of 4

The store was made and left

The site is working, orders are coming, no one touches anything. This is where silent debt accumulates: outdated versions, forgotten modules, backups that no one checked. The problem becomes visible at the worst moment — during the season.

We'll review your situation in a free audit

Instead of a price fork — a free technical inspection

Before talking about the subscription, let's look at the state of the store now: what is overdue, what is working on the limit, and what is simply not installed.

What we measure

  • PHP versions and platformsis there still support and security updates - five of the stores we measured were running PHP 7.3.33, with no support since December 2021
  • Backup copiesare they even made and has anyone at least once checked recovery from them
  • Analyticsis data being collected: One of the stores measured still had Universal Analytics, which has not been collecting anything since July 2023
  • Site map and indexingduplicates, outdated files, pages outside the index
  • Speed and errorsserver response time, broken links, errors in logs

What you get

  • a list of what is overdue or not working, with an explanation of the consequences
  • which of these should be closed first, and which can wait
  • composition of monthly works specifically for your store
  • score with breakdown

Timeline: 2-3 working days

Why is it free

A subscription without understanding the state of the store is either an overpayment for work that is not needed, or a promise to close something that we have not seen yet.

What's next

You get a list and a rating. Then you decide for yourself - the inspection does not obligate you to anything.

Short form: your contact and site URL

Did not find your case?

Describe how it works on your side — we will tell you whether “Monthly support of the online store” fits and what it means in your situation. No brief and no call: one question, one answer.

  • Contract, act and 30-day warranty

Every project gets a written contract: scope, deadlines, amount, acceptance procedure. After delivery — act and invoice, then 30 calendar days of warranty.

  • Sole proprietor & bank transfer

The contractor is a registered sole proprietor. Payment by invoice with closing documents.

  • Rights & access — yours

Code, design and materials transfer to you after full payment. Domain, hosting, repository and analytics are registered to you.

  • Client portal instead of email chains

During the project you get access to a portal: contracts, invoices, acts and project status in one place.

  • European clients

Among our work — projects for Norway, Bulgaria, Moldova and Spain.

  • Verifiable numbers

Every case in the portfolio comes with a link to a live site and a technical measurement.

  • Audit first, then pricing

There is no price list on the site intentionally: the scope of the same work differs multiples between clients.

  • We say "no" when unsure

If the task isn't ours or the deadline is unrealistic — we tell you upfront.

What affects the price

Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • Directory sizeA 200-item store and a 50,000-item store differ in backup, update, and post-check times.
  • Number of integrationsEach payment, carrier and exchange with the accounting system is a separate point of failure that must be checked after each update.
  • The state of the store at the startIf the platform is overdue by several versions, the first month is not maintenance, but raking. This is visible on the free inspection and is counted separately.
  • Reaction timeResponse during business hours and response around the clock are different obligations. The second is more expensive, and it is worth taking it only for those whose orders go out at night.
  • Number of hours for small editsThe subscription includes a fixed supply of hours. Exactly how much is decided by your pace of change, not at random.
  • Who owns the infrastructure? If hosting and domain are registered for you, we just work. If it's the previous contractor, first you need to regain control, and that's a separate story.

Tasks and results in numbers — all metrics measured by us

a store of self-defense products and a store of garden tools of an official seller

Task
To understand the technical condition of the stores, the owners believed that everything was fine because the sites were working.
Solution
External technical measurement: platform and PHP versions, analytics status, sitemap, response speed, markup errors.
Result
Measured on 07/31/2026: 5 out of 24 stores are running PHP 7.3.33, a version that lost support in December 2021, more than 4 years without security updates. At one of the stores, the analyst is Universal Analytics, which has not collected data since July 2023, meaning the owner has been looking at an empty report for three years.

wholesale cosmetics store with a catalog of almost 4,000 items

Task
Find out why search is indexing fewer pages than are in the directory.
Solution
They compared the site map with the real catalog and found a live outdated file in parallel, which no one had removed after the previous works.
Result
Measured on 07/31/2026: 7,782 entries in the old sitemap, of which only 2,755 unique addresses — 2,454 URLs were repeated three times, and 2,706 product pages in it, compared to 3,947 in the working map. The search engine has been receiving conflicting data for years.
What we need from you

We can't start without this — best to prepare in advance

  1. access to hosting, admin and domain control panel
  2. the contact of the decision maker in the event of an accident
  3. the list of services that the store depends on
  4. whether there are currently backups and where exactly they are located
  5. convenient window for updates

If something is missing — let us know, we'll help you gather it or do it as a separate task.

FAQ

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

Why pay monthly if the site works?

Precisely because it works. Technical debt accumulates quietly: the version loses support, the module stops being updated, copies are made to the same server where the site is located. In our measurements, five shops with twenty-four years running on PHP without support - and they all "worked" until the day of measurement, too.

What is included in the subscription hours and what is not?

Includes minor: broken links, checkout errors, text edits, checking after updates. It does not include new functionality — a new type of payment, a dealer's office, exchange with the accounting system. These are separate works with a separate assessment, otherwise the subscription becomes immeasurable and we start saving time on it.

Will you update the platform automatically?

No. The update takes place in the agreed window, with a copy before it and a check after. Automatic store updates are the fastest way to know that the module holding your checkout is not compatible with a new version.

How quickly do you respond if the site is down?

The reaction time is fixed in the contract, not in the correspondence. We offer two levels: during business hours and 24/7. The second makes sense to those who actually have orders at night; for the rest it is simply more expensive.

Do you do backups? Hosting does the same.

Hosting usually does, but almost no one has checked whether it is possible to recover from them. A copy that has never been recovered from is a hope, not a copy. We keep separate from the site and periodically do a test restore: that's the only way to know it's working before you need it.

And if the problem is in the hosting or in the payment?

We will see it and report it, collect evidence and write to their support. But we can't fix someone else's service - and we don't promise to. It is better to be honest about the limit of liability than to keep silent about it until the first accident.

What happens if we stop working together?

The accesses remain yours, we delete ours and notify you about it. Copies are given. The store continues to operate: there is nothing in the escort that would tie you to us technically.

Where to start if the store is abandoned?

From a free check. More often than not, it turns out that the first month is not escorted, but raking - and it is more honest to call it a separate job than to smear on a subscription and pretend that everything is normal.

Let's start with a check, not a subscription

Give your store address and read access - we'll get back to you in 2-3 business days with a list of what's overdue or not working, explaining the consequences of each item. If it turns out that you do not need an escort now, we will say so in the first email.

  • We work under a contract

There is no price list on the site on purpose: the same work differs several times over between two clients, and a “from” figure explains nothing in that case. First a free audit — we count your pages, duplicates and speed — then we name the sum and the deadline and fix both in the contract.
