Lead generation on Facebook and Instagram: applications that lead to sales

Lead generation on Facebook and Instagram is the collection of applications in an instant form right in the feed, without going to the site. The application turns out to be cheap, because the barrier is low, and for the same reason it is often random. Therefore, we do not start our work from the office, but from the question of where the application falls and how many minutes it takes to get it to work. Analysis of this path takes 2-4 working days and costs nothing.

Situations where this service delivers results

Scenario 1 of 4

The service is bought after a conversation, not from the first screen

Clinic, lawyer, repair, installation, training. Here, the application is not a sale, but an agreement to talk, and this is why the form inside the tape works: a person does not need to learn anything to leave a number. Then everything is decided by conversation. Fair margin: If the conversation is weak, a cheap bid will only show it faster in the report.

Tasks and results in numbers — all metrics measured by us

clinic of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine

Task
Understand whether there is something to count applications before driving paid traffic.
Solution
We removed the state of measurement from the outside: which meters are in the markup that is given to the search bot, how the consent mode is configured.
Result
Measurement 07/31/2026: pre-rendered HTML delivered to the bot in 145ms, 89 addresses in the sitemap, 10 types of structured data - the most complete set of the eight sites measured. Nearby is a defect that solves everything for advertising: the inline GTM snippet is self-blocking, because the exit condition checks the identifier with itself, so the container is never loaded. Plus the consent mode is denied by default. Conversions are not counted at all - there is nothing to optimize the campaign.

aesthetic medicine clinic abroad

Task
Check whether the site is ready for the paid application channel.
Solution
We measured the site from the outside: the platform, volume, speed, a set of counters and the state of structured data.
Result
Measurement 07/31/2026: 26 pages published via open REST API, first server response 285.9ms, full HTML load 439.4ms at 119.5KB - the lightest full document in the sample. Meta Pixel, GTM and GA4 stand together, that is, there is something to build audiences from. The gaps are also named: the site map gives 404 for all three addresses, there is no MedicalClinic or LocalBusiness markup.

business structuring consulting company, one-page site with an application form

Task
Evaluate whether it is possible to compare the form in the advertisement with the form on the website by numbers.
Solution
We took the technical indicators of the page and checked whether there is working analytics - without it such a comparison is impossible.
Result
Measured on 07/31/2026: TTFB 254ms at 102.1KB HTML - lightest document and second fastest response speed among 16 sites measured. GA4 is connected and working, which is rather an exception in our sample. The entire navigation is five anchors and one internal link, meaning the page is short and leads to a form. Defects found: robots.txt references a sitemap that returns a 404 and zero JSON-LD blocks.
What's included

Complete list of work and what you get as a result

  • We put together a form with filtering questions - random appeals are cut off even before the manager spends time on them.
  • We start the automatic transfer of applications to your system: the application appears in CRM in seconds, and not after manual uploading.
  • We notify the person in charge immediately after sending the form — so that the first contact is measured in minutes, not days.
  • We distribute campaigns by segments and offers instead of one for all: it is clear which offer gives the application that reaches the sale.
  • We prepare creatives for the ribbon and vertical formats with an honest description of the offer - a person knows what he is agreeing to even before filling it out.
  • We adjust the return of application statuses to the advertising cabinet, if your system technically allows it: the campaign learns from qualified, not from the number of forms.
  • We run a comparative test of the form against the landing page and calculate the cost of the sale, not the cost of the application.
  • We exclude those who have already submitted an application from further screenings — the budget stops collecting the same contacts a second time.
  • We provide a monthly report where applications, qualified applications and sales stand on separate lines with the cost of each stage.
When this service isn't right

What's not included — so there are no surprises at delivery

  • Advertising budget - pay it directly from your account.
  • Application processing and sales by phone.
  • Promises of the number of sales from applications.
  • Development of landing pages is a related work with a separate deadline.
  • Purchase of ready-made contact databases in any form.
Process steps

Transparent stages with approval at every step

Total duration:6–18 days

  1. Analysis of the application path

2-4 working days, free of charge

Let's see where the application goes now, how much it costs, whether statuses are fixed and what your form asks. The output is a document based on which the estimate is calculated.

  2. Delivery of applications and notifications

    1-5 working days

We connect the transfer of requests to CRM directly or through an intermediate processor, set a notification to the person in charge and check the chain with test shipments from different devices.

  3. Forms, segments, creatives

    2-4 working days

We collect forms with filtering questions for each segment, prepare texts and layouts for the ribbon and vertical formats, exclude those who have already applied.

  4. Launch and first week

    1-3 working days

We start by looking at the structure of applications and the time of first contact, not at the cost: the sample is still too small to draw conclusions about the price. Here we catch technical failures in the delivery of applications.

  5. Returning statuses to the cabinet

    1-3 working days

When the marks "qualified", "sale", "refusal" have accumulated in the system, we configure the transmission of offline conversions - after that, the campaign is optimized for the required stage.

  6. The first reporting cycle

    1-3 working days

After two or three weeks, we compile the applications, qualified applications and sales with the cost of each stage, correct the questions in the form and the allocation of the budget between segments.

Free analysis of the application path

Lead forms give cheap applications — this is both an advantage and a major pitfall. A cheap application from someone who clicked between cases costs you the manager's time. Parsing shows whether you are ready to distinguish one from the other.

What we measure

  • Where does the application go now?CRM, mail, manual download from the office. The last option means that some applications arrive with a delay of days.
  • Speed of first contactIn lead forms, it decides more than the text of the ad: the person did not go to the site and quickly forgets that he left a contact.
  • Is the status of the application recorded?Qualified, in operation, sale, refusal. Without it, the optimization will go to the number of forms — and the system will find the cheapest ones.
  • What is the form asking now?The short form gives many cheap applications, the longer one - fewer and more expensive, but better quality. Let's see which option corresponds to your funnel.
  • Availability of an alternative in the form of a siteSometimes landing page traffic makes for a more expensive but better bid. It should be compared before launch, not after.
  • Willingness to accept the flowHow many applications per day does your department process without a drop in quality. This is a real budget limit.

What you get

  • A description of the current path of the application with places where it slows down or gets lost.
  • A recommendation on the format of the form for your funnel.
  • The scheme for transferring statuses back to the advertising cabinet.
  • Conversation for 40 minutes on the document.

Timeline: 2-4 working days

Why is it free

Because in lead generation, the most expensive mistake is not in the settings, but in the fact that applications lie unprocessed. This is visible in a few days and does not require the launch of a campaign.

What's next

We provide an estimate separately for the integration of applications with your system and separately for launching and conducting campaigns.

Short form: your contact and site URL

  • Contract, act and 30-day warranty

Every project gets a written contract: scope, deadlines, amount, acceptance procedure. After delivery — act and invoice, then 30 calendar days of warranty.

  • Sole proprietor & bank transfer

The contractor is a registered sole proprietor. Payment by invoice with closing documents.

  • Rights & access — yours

Code, design and materials transfer to you after full payment. Domain, hosting, repository and analytics are registered to you.

  • Client portal instead of email chains

During the project you get access to a portal: contracts, invoices, acts and project status in one place.

  • European clients

Among our work — projects for Norway, Bulgaria, Moldova and Spain.

  • Verifiable numbers

Every case in the portfolio comes with a link to a live site and a technical measurement.

  • Audit first, then pricing

There is no price list on the site intentionally: the scope of the same work differs multiples between clients.

  • We say "no" when unsure

If the task isn't ours or the deadline is unrealistic — we tell you upfront.

What affects the price

Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • Where does the application fall now?Ready integration with your CRM is a matter of hours. Mail, table, or manual export means an intermediate handler that needs to be written and tested under load.
  • Is there anything to return to advertising? When application statuses are already set in the system, the transmission of offline conversions is connected quickly. When there are no statuses, it is first necessary to agree on who will post them and when - this is not a technical work, and it takes the most time.
  • How many segments and offersOne offer for everyone — one campaign, one form, one set of creatives. Three segments with different offers are three times as many forms, texts and separate reporting for each.
  • Who makes creativesThere are your photos, videos from objects or from the office - we work with them. There is nothing but the logo - shooting and editing become a separate line of the estimate.
  • Do you need a parallel test with the site?Comparing a form to a landing page is a second campaign, a second measurement scheme, and a longer period of data accumulation before a conclusion.
  • The volume of management after launchOne offer with a rare ad rotation and multiple segments with weekly creative rotation - varying hours per month. Here the difference is most noticeable.
Technologies & integrations

What we build on and what it connects to

Stack

  • Meta Ads Manager — campaigns, audiences, budgets
  • Instant forms live inside Facebook and Instagram, so site analytics doesn't see these people in principle
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API — required for site and similar audiences; server events require a shared ID or statistics are duplicated
  • Transfer of offline conversions - this is how the "qualified" or "sale" status is returned to the training campaign
  • Integration with CRM or an intermediate processor - we do not consider manual export from the office to be a working option
  • Audiences from customer lists - contacts are hashed before uploading
  • Stack Limit: None of the above affect what happens after the call

How this option differs from the alternative

Application feeas a rule, it is lower - and that is why there are more random ones among them
How much can be explained before the applicationa few screens of creative and a short description in the form

When something else is smartersimple clear proposal and short solution cycle
What we need from you

We can't start without this — best to prepare in advance

  1. Access to advertising cabinet, business account and page.
  2. Access to the CRM or consent to set up the transfer of applications to it.
  3. A description of which application is considered qualified.
  4. The real throughput of the sales department in requests per day.
  5. An offer that can be called in an unadorned form.
  6. A person who indicates the status of each application.

FAQ

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

Lead form or site traffic?

The form gives cheaper applications, the site - higher quality, and this is almost a rule. In the form, a person does not leave the tape, the barrier is lower: more applications and more random ones. We usually run both options side-by-side on a small budget and compare not the bid price, but the sale price. Often, a more expensive channel turns out to be cheaper at the output. There is only one condition for such a test: you must have something to measure. In the consulting project we measured, GA4 works - there the comparison is possible; in the plastic surgery clinic, the GTM container is not loading at all, and there is nothing to compare until this is fixed.

Why are applications from lead forms of such low quality?

The reasons are almost always twofold: too short a shape and slow first contact. The form with one question collects everyone in a row. The application, which was received two days later, is almost always dead - the person did not go to the site and does not remember leaving a contact. It is not treated in the office: we add filter questions and set automatic transmission to CRM with a notification to the person in charge.

How to transfer applications to our CRM?

Through an out-of-the-box integration, if available for your system, or through an intermediate processor that accepts a request from Meta and puts it into your database. We do not consider manual export from the office to be a working option: it always lags behind, and it is this delay that causes the most losses. If there is no CRM at all, the minimum working option is an instant notification to the person in charge in the messenger plus a table where the request falls automatically.

Why return application statuses to ads?

So that the system learns from qualified appeals, and not from the number of sent forms. Without it, the campaign honestly looks for the cheapest bids and finds them — mostly from people who don't need your service. Technically, this is a transfer of offline conversions: a "qualified" or "sale" tag attached to the application is returned from CRM. This is the strongest lever in lead generation, stronger than creatives. A fair limit: it works only when statuses are actually posted by a living person, and no setting can replace it.

How many questions to ask in the form?

Enough to cut off non-targets, and none superfluous. In practice, these are two to four questions: volume or budget, city, convenient contact time. Each additional question reduces the number of calls and increases their quality, so the specific number depends on how many calls your sales force handles without a drop in quality. We ask this number at the analysis and calculate from it how rigid the form should be.

How soon should I call back?

As fast as possible is the cheapest way to convert to a sale without making any changes to your ad. We notify the person in charge immediately after sending the form, and the time of first contact is included in the report as a separate metric. If it is measured in hours, any campaign optimization will have less effect than working with this number. This is probably our only recommendation that we repeat at every meeting.

Can our customer base be leveraged for lookalike audiences?

Yes, if the contacts were obtained legally and you have a legal basis to use them. Lookalike audiences, built on a list of real buyers, usually perform better than customizing by interests. Data is hashed before upload and we document exactly what is being transferred. We do not buy other people's bases in any way - this is not a precaution, but a limit beyond which we do not cross.

How to understand that the channel is working, if the sale closes after a month?

Look at intermediate stages, not just money. There are four lines in the report: request, qualified request, appointment or miscalculation, sale - with the cost of each. A long cycle means that the first weeks should be judged by the second line, not by the fourth. At the same time, we advise you to check the figures of the office with your accounting system: the office and GA4 show a trend, not the accounting truth, and you have to consciously reconcile them with the cash register.

Tell me where the application is now falling and who is taking it

In 2-4 working days, we will return with a document: where the application slows down, which form format corresponds to your funnel and how to return statuses to advertising. Next is the term and cost by stages.

There is no price list on the site on purpose: the same work differs several times over between two clients, and a “from” figure explains nothing in that case. First a free audit — we count your pages, duplicates and speed — then we name the sum and the deadline and fix both in the contract.
