Promoting a car service centre: people want a workshop nearby, not the best one in the country

A car service is searched for within a radius of a few kilometres, and usually urgently. That makes promotion here work differently from a store: competing for general nationwide queries makes no sense, while being visible for «garage near me» and for the name of a specific job is what brings the calls. That is exactly what we work on: pages for the jobs people actually search for, local visibility, and the technical base without which none of the rest gets shown.

Free audit of your site

We look at whether there is anything to work with at all: pages for jobs, local data and the technical state.

What we measure

  • Whether there are pages for specific jobsIf the site has one «Services» page as a list, there is nothing to take into search: people look for a specific job, not a list.
  • What about the local dataThe address, opening hours and phone as structured data, reconciled with the maps profile — the basis of visibility for «near me» queries.
  • State of the maps profileFor a garage it often brings more enquiries than the site itself. We look at completeness, photos, reviews and categories.
  • Speed on a phonePeople search mostly from mobile, often while driving. A slow page loses the customer here before they even see the phone number.
  • The technical baseBreadcrumbs, canonical addresses, sitemap — the same things we measured across sites in this niche, where the result turned out better than average.
  • Whether the specialisation is visibleIf you work with particular makes, that belongs on separate pages, not in a line of text about the company.

What you get

  • a list of what is missing for visibility, with the reasons explained
  • which jobs are worth giving their own pages first
  • an estimate of the work broken down by stage
  • an honest answer if it pays you better to invest in the maps profile than in the site

Timeline: 3–5 working days

Why is it free

Until you look at the site, a conversation about timelines and scope has no subject. The audit shows whether there is anything to work with there at all.

What's next

You get the list and an estimate. Then you decide for yourself — the document stays with you.

Short form: your contact and site URL

  • Contract, act and 30-day warranty

Every project gets a written contract: scope, deadlines, amount, acceptance procedure. After delivery — act and invoice, then 30 calendar days of warranty.

  • Sole proprietor & bank transfer

The contractor is a registered sole proprietor. Payment by invoice with closing documents.

  • Rights & access — yours

Code, design and materials transfer to you after full payment. Domain, hosting, repository and analytics are registered to you.

  • Client portal instead of email chains

During the project you get access to a portal: contracts, invoices, acts and project status in one place.

  • European clients

Among our work — projects for Norway, Bulgaria, Moldova and Spain.

  • Verifiable numbers

Every case in the portfolio comes with a link to a live site and a technical measurement.

  • Audit first, then pricing

There is no price list on the site intentionally: the scope of the same work differs multiples between clients.

  • We say "no" when unsure

If the task isn't ours or the deadline is unrealistic — we tell you upfront.

What affects the price

Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • How many jobs get their own pageFive common jobs is a small scope. A full list with makes means dozens of pages, each of which has to be filled with substance rather than a template.
  • Number of locationsOne address is one set of local data. A network requires separate pages and work on each location's maps profile.
  • Technical state of the siteIf the basics are in place, the work goes faster. If the site is slow and has no markup, the technical part comes first — otherwise the rest does not get shown.
  • State of the maps profileA neglected profile often gives a faster lift than the site. This is the cheap part of the work with a noticeable effect in this niche specifically.
  • Competition in the cityIn a large city with dozens of garages you need more time and sharper specialisation. In a small one the result shows sooner.
  • Who writes the textsTexts about the jobs have to be technically correct. If your mechanic proofreads them, they come out better than any copywriting.
Who it's for

Situations where this service delivers results

Scenario 1 of 4

A garage running on word of mouth

There are regulars, but few new customers. Search brings those who have just moved, just bought a car, or not yet found their mechanic — a noticeable flow you are currently not reaching.

What's included

Complete list of work and what you get as a result

  • pages for specific jobs: oil change, diagnostics, suspension, air conditioning
  • pages for makes, if you specialise
  • local visibility: markup with the address and hours, reconciled with the maps profile
  • working with reviews as part of local promotion, with no manipulation
  • the technical base: response speed, breadcrumbs, canonical addresses, sitemap
  • job descriptions in the customer's language, not a retelling of a parts catalogue
  • separate pages for each location, if there are several
  • a monthly report: what was done, what changed in the figures, what comes next
  • a list of what to do on your side, where it affects the result
When this service isn't right

What's not included — so there are no surprises at delivery

  • guarantees of search positions — nobody who understands how search works gives those
  • manipulating reviews and ratings
  • the work of the service adviser and the quality of the repair itself
  • buying links from exchanges
  • promises of a number of calls
Process steps

Transparent stages with approval at every step

Total duration:30–180 days

  1. Audit and plan

    3–5 working days

We look at the site, the maps profile and the queries you are currently found by. We compile a list of jobs worth giving their own pages.

  2. The technical base

    5–15 working days

Speed, breadcrumbs, canonical addresses, sitemap, local markup. Without this the later work does not appear in search.

  3. Job pages

    10–40 working days

We build pages for specific jobs and makes: what is included, how long it takes, what the price depends on. Your mechanic proofreads the texts.

  4. Local presence

    5–10 working days

We put the company's maps profile in order, reconcile the data with the site, and set up work with reviews without manipulation.

  5. Observation and corrections

    monthly

We watch which queries visibility appears for and which pages work and which do not. We fix what did not work.

  6. The report

    monthly

Every month we show what was done and what changed in the figures — including what did not work. A 30-day warranty from the date the acceptance act is signed applies to the work performed.

Tasks and results in numbers — all metrics measured by us

a sample of 6 Ukrainian sites in the car-service niche

Task
Find out what state the sites in the car-service niche are actually in, rather than what their owners say: the technical base, measurement and site size.
Solution

Result
Measurement 2026-08-07: 5 Ukrainian sites in the car-service niche checked. 1 of 5 has no breadcrumb markup; 1 of 5 has no local-business markup. The median first response is 453.8 ms, the median sitemap holds 223 addresses.

FAQ

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

Do you guarantee search positions?

No, and nobody who understands how search works guarantees that. We are answerable for the work: pages for queries, the technical base, local data, the maps profile. What that produces in positions also depends on competition and on how people behave, and we show it in figures every month, including what did not work.

How long until there are results?

The first changes in visibility for local queries are usually noticeable sooner than in competitive general topics — but that is months, not weeks. If you are promised a result in a fortnight, that is either very low competition or untrue.

What gives more — the site or the maps profile?

In this niche the maps profile often gives a faster lift in enquiries, especially if it has been neglected. So we start with it when the audit shows more potential there — even though that means less work on the site and a smaller sum for us.

Why separate pages for every job?

Because people search for something specific: «oil change [city]», «suspension diagnostics». One «Services» page as a list does not answer any of those queries well enough to compete. But the page has to have substance: what is included, how long it takes, what the price depends on — otherwise it is just another empty address.

Can reviews be manipulated?

They can, and we will not do it. Manipulation gets detected, and the penalties hit the profile that brings enquiries in this niche. We work differently: we set things up so real customers leave reviews, and help you respond to negative ones properly.

We already have a decent site — what then?

All the better. In the car-service niche, by our measurements, the technical base is in better shape than in most other niches — that is, it is not an advantage here but the norm. So the difference is made not by that but by pages for specific jobs and by local presence.

Who writes the texts about the jobs?

We write, your mechanic proofreads. A technically wrong text about a repair gets noticed by customers and colleagues alike, and does more harm than its absence. This is not a formality — we do not publish such texts without proofreading.

What will be in the monthly report?

What was done, what changed in the figures for visibility and enquiries, and what among the work produced no effect. The last part is compulsory: without it the report turns into a list of activity from which no decision can be made.

  • We work under a contract

There is no price list on the site on purpose: the same work differs several times over between two clients, and a “from” figure explains nothing in that case. First a free audit — we count your pages, duplicates and speed — then we name the sum and the deadline and fix both in the contract.
