An auto repair shop website: the customer wants to know the price of the work and a free slot, not the company's history

People look for an auto repair shop in one of two situations: either something has already broken, or it is time for scheduled maintenance. In both cases they want three things — how much it costs, when there is a free slot and whether you work on their make. A site that opens with a story about the company's values forces them to look for these answers on a phone call. We build a site where the answers are on the page: a list of jobs with prices, booking for a specific time and contact details that not only people but also search engines can see.

Situations where this service delivers results

Scenario 1 of 4

A service that runs on phone calls

The service advisor answers the same questions about cost and free slots every day. A site can take over part of this work, but only if the prices and schedule are really on it.

We'll review your situation in a free audit
What's included

Complete list of work and what you get as a result

  • a list of jobs with the cost or a clear range, not “price on request”
  • service booking with a choice of job and free slot
  • jobs linked to makes and models, if the cost depends on them
  • separate pages for the jobs people search for: oil change, diagnostics, suspension
  • local business markup: address, opening hours and phone number as data
  • a directions page with landmarks showing how to get there
  • requests forwarded to where they are handled: a CRM, a messenger or email
  • a mobile version tested on real phones — most inquiries come from them
  • handover with a description of how to add new jobs and change prices
When this service isn't right

What's not included — so there are no surprises at delivery

  • setting your prices for the work
  • accounting for spare parts and stock
  • the service advisor's work after a customer books
  • promises of search positions or the number of inquiries
  • telephony and call recording
A free review of your task

We look at what brings customers in this niche: clear prices, available booking and visibility nearby.

What we measure

  • Whether prices for the work are shown openly“Price on request” on every item means a phone call for every inquiry. We look at which jobs can be priced openly and which really need an inspection.
  • How booking is handled nowA notebook, a messenger or a spreadsheet — this determines whether online booking for a specific time makes sense or a callback request is enough.
  • Whether the specialization is visibleIf you do not work with all makes, that should be clear from the first screen; otherwise you pay for time spent turning people down.
  • What your local visibility is likeWe check the address, opening hours and local business markup — the same things we measured on sites in this niche.
  • Speed on a phoneA customer with a broken-down car searches from a phone at the roadside. A slow page here costs you the inquiry.
  • Where requests goEmail, a messenger or a CRM — this determines whether an inquiry gets lost outside working hours.

What you get

  • a list of what drives inquiries in the niche, with the reasons explained
  • a proposed site structure for your jobs
  • an estimate of the work broken down by stage
  • an honest answer on whether you need a site right now

Timeline: 2–4 working days

Why is it free

A business-card site and a site with booking for a specific time and jobs linked to makes differ in scope several times over. Without a review, any figure would be guesswork.

What affects the price

Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • Whether booking for a specific time is neededA callback request is simple. Booking with free slots requires a bay schedule, rules for job durations and protection against double booking.
  • Linking jobs to makesA single price list is quick to build. Prices that depend on make and model mean a car directory and separate selection logic.
  • Number of job pagesA separate page for each job in demand gives more entry points from search, but each one has to be filled with real content, not the same text.
  • Number of locationsOne workshop means one address and one schedule. A network of branches adds a choice of location in booking and separate local markup for each.
  • Where requests are sentEmail is the simplest. A CRM adds field mapping and failure handling, but inquiries do not get lost.
  • Condition of the existing siteSometimes it is cheaper to improve what you have: add prices, booking and markup. The review shows this, and we will tell you honestly if you do not need a new site.
Process steps

Transparent stages with approval at every step

Total duration:15–45 days

  1. Reviewing the task

    2–4 working days

We look at which jobs can be priced openly, how booking is handled and what your local visibility is like. The result is a site structure and an estimate.

  2. Structure and price list

    3–6 working days

We compile the list of jobs and the pages for them, decide where the price is open and where an inspection is needed, and how to show that it depends on the make.

  3. Building the site

    8–25 working days

We build the job pages, a homepage with a clear first screen and contacts with directions. We work in a test environment.

  4. Booking and requests

    3–10 working days

We connect booking for free slots or a request form, forwarding to a CRM or messenger, and notifications for the service advisor.

  5. Local visibility

    1–3 working days

We add local business markup with the address, hours and phone number, and check the data against the company's profile on maps.

  6. Launch and handover

    1–3 working days

We roll out the site, check the first requests and hand over instructions for changing prices and jobs. After that the 30-day warranty applies from the date the acceptance act is signed.

Tasks and results in numbers — all metrics measured by us

a sample of 6 Ukrainian websites in the “auto repair shop” niche

Task
Find out what state the sites in the auto repair shop niche are actually in, rather than what their owners say: the technical base, measurement and site size.
Solution
An external measurement with no access to anyone's admin panels: time to first response as the median of several measurements, the catalog from the sitemap with duplicate URLs removed, counters in the homepage HTML, the PHP version from the headers, hreflang, TLS, robots.txt and the canonical URL.
Result
Measured on 17 September 2026: 6 Ukrainian websites in the “auto repair shop” niche were checked. 2 of 6 have no breadcrumb markup; 2 of 6 have no local business markup; 1 of 6 have no structured data. Median first response time: 493.2 ms; median sitemap size: 228 URLs.
What we need from you

We can't start without this — best to prepare in advance

  1. a list of jobs with prices or ranges
  2. how booking is handled now and who takes it
  3. addresses, opening hours and contacts for all locations
  4. whether the cost of work depends on the car make
  5. which makes you do not work with
  6. who on your side accepts the work

If something is missing — let us know, we'll help you gather it or do it as a separate task.

FAQ

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

Should we show prices for the work?

For the jobs that can be priced without an inspection, yes. An oil change, diagnostics and tire service have a clear cost, and that is exactly what people search for. Where the price depends on the condition of a component, it is more honest to give a range and explain what it depends on than to write “price on request” across the whole price list: the latter reads as reluctance to talk.

Is online booking really needed?

It depends on how your queue works. If the bays are scheduled in advance and job durations are predictable, booking a specific time saves the service advisor hours. If the car has to be looked at first, a short request describing the problem is more useful — and we will say so directly during the review.

Do you guarantee more inquiries?

No. The site answers questions and takes requests, but it does not create demand. The number of inquiries depends on location, reputation and prices. We are responsible for making sure that a person who is already looking for a service finds answers on your site rather than a reason to call a competitor.

Why local business markup?

So that the address, opening hours and phone number are data for search engines rather than text on a page. That is what helps you appear in “near me” results. Among the sites in this niche that we measured, things are better on this front than in most other niches — but that is exactly why missing markup stands out here.

How long does development take?

16 to 47 working days. Most of the time goes not into design but into the price list and booking: the list of jobs has to be structured and the bay schedule described as rules. We give the exact timeline after the review.

We already have a website — should we build a new one?

Not necessarily. It is often cheaper to improve the existing one: add prices, booking and markup. That is exactly what we look at during the review, and we say honestly when a new site is not needed — turning down unnecessary work is normal for us.

Requests will come in at night — what happens to them?

They should be stored until morning, and the customer should see confirmation that the request has been received, with a note of when someone will get in touch. A form that stays silent at night gives the impression that the request has disappeared, and the person goes on searching.

Who owns the site after the work?

You do. The property rights to the code, design and materials pass to the client after full payment, and the result is handed over under an acceptance act. The domain, hosting and analytics are registered in your name from the very start.

  • We work under a contract

There is no price list on the site on purpose: the same work differs several times over between two clients, and a “from” figure explains nothing in that case. First a free audit — we count your pages, duplicates and speed — then we name the sum and the deadline and fix both in the contract.
