Writing an article for a search query: one page - one question, to which there is an answer

Writing an article for a search query begins with a check, not with the text: is there a demand for this query and do you have something to add to what is already in the issue. Then the plan, a conversation with your specialist for half an hour and the material itself, in which the answer is in the first paragraphs, not at the end. One Page - One Question: An article that tries to close three queries at once doesn't close any. The term is 5–20 working days from the approval of the plan.

Situations where this service delivers results

Scenario 1 of 5

Commercial pages have closed "buy", and you are not in the search for "how to choose".

A person enters the search two weeks before the purchase — with a question about the difference between models, about compatibility, about care. At this stage, your site is not in her life, and when she is ready to "buy", she will choose among those who answered earlier. An article on request takes exactly this step and leads from there to your category.

What's included

Complete list of work and what you get as a result

  • We check the demand for the request and clarifications to it - so that the material is not written under a topic that no one types.
  • We analyze the issue: who is responding now and in what format — instruction, comparison, selection or definition. The wrong type of material will not work.
  • We make a plan: questions in order, volume of sections, places for a table or diagram. We approve the plan before writing — it is more expensive to revise the finished text.
  • We conduct a conversation with your specialist for 30-40 minutes and decipher it. This is where the numbers, cases, and caveats are taken from, which are not in the rest of the issue.
  • We write a text in which the answer is in the first paragraphs. A person who received it immediately reads further more often than a person who is led through the history of the question.
  • We make tables and calculations where they explain better than a paragraph: comparison of models, dimensional grids, sequence of actions.
  • We write the title of the page, the description and the structure of the headings according to the type of answer, and not according to the template.
  • We put links to commercial pages to which the material leads, and backlinks from the category to it. Without a second direction, the article is found by search, but not by your buyer.
  • We add the Article markup, and the FAQPage — only when the material contains a real block of questions.
  • We put the author's signature and the update date where the topic requires it: health, law, money.
  • We check the actual part with your specialist before publication and check the uniqueness of the text.
  • After 6–10 weeks, we make a cut on Search Console: for which queries the material receives impressions and where people go from it.
When this service isn't right

What's not included — so there are no surprises at delivery

  • Publication without proofreading by your specialist in topics where the price of error is high.
  • I will buy links to the article.
  • Layout of new blog templates: if there is no space in the template for a table or author's signature, this is a separate job.
  • Posting material outside of your site.
  • Promises of items on demand and number of conversions.

Free request check before writing

Before writing, we look at the request itself: whether there is a demand for it, what the search already shows and whether you have something to add. If you add nothing, it is better to find out about it before payment, and not after handing over the text.

What we measure

  • Real demandHow many times the request is typed and what clarifications are added to it. The scheduler groups close expressions and rounds, so we take the order of magnitude from there, not the exact number.
  • What is already in issueWho responds to the request now: manufacturers, marketplaces, media or forums. It depends on whether you have a chance and what the format should be.
  • The type of response expectedInstruction, comparison, selection or definition. The wrong type of material will not work, even if it is well written.
  • Do you have expertiseCan you tell me something from your own experience or data. If not, someone else's transfer will appear, and this is visible from the first screen.
  • Where does it lead?Which commercial page is behind the material. An article without conversion to a product or service brings traffic and nothing more.
  • Will it not eat the existing pageLet's see if you already have a page for this same request. Two pages for one request compete with each other, and it will not be the site owner who chooses between them.
  • How will you measure the result? Are there counters on the site and is Search Console connected? There is not a single counter in the store of dental materials we measured - the effect of any text there today is nothing to count.

What you get

  • The order of demand for the main request and the list of clarifications that are added to it.
  • Distribution analysis: who is answering now, in what format and where in this set there is free space.
  • An outline of the article or an honest answer that it is not worth writing.
  • A 30-minute conversation on the document, where you can argue with the conclusions.

Timeline: 1-2 working days

Why is it free

Because the check takes several hours, and its result often cancels the work itself. It would be dishonest to sell an article based on a request that is backed by manufacturers with their own laboratories.

What's next

If the request is working, we agree on the plan and write. If not, we offer a related request for which the chance is real, and show how much better it is.

Short form: your contact and site URL

  • Contract, act and 30-day warranty

Every project gets a written contract: scope, deadlines, amount, acceptance procedure. After delivery — act and invoice, then 30 calendar days of warranty.

  • Sole proprietor & bank transfer

The contractor is a registered sole proprietor. Payment by invoice with closing documents.

  • Rights & access — yours

Code, design and materials transfer to you after full payment. Domain, hosting, repository and analytics are registered to you.

  • Client portal instead of email chains

During the project you get access to a portal: contracts, invoices, acts and project status in one place.

  • European clients

Among our work — projects for Norway, Bulgaria, Moldova and Spain.

  • Verifiable numbers

Every case in the portfolio comes with a link to a live site and a technical measurement.

  • Audit first, then pricing

There is no price list on the site intentionally: the scope of the same work differs multiples between clients.

  • We say "no" when unsure

If the task isn't ours or the deadline is unrealistic — we tell you upfront.

What affects the price

Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • The depth of the topic, not the volume of the textThe material on how to tie a pareo and the material on the choice of industrial equipment can coincide in the number of signs and differ many times over hours. Parsing, collating, and proofreading make the difference, not typing.
  • The price of an error in the topicHealth, law and money entail sources, proofreading by your specialist, the author's signature and a page about him. This is not a formality: in such topics, one unconfirmed statement is worth more than the entire material.
  • Access to your expertWhen a specialist allocates half an hour and responds to clarifications during the day, the work flows. When the conversation is moved to the third week, the author selects material from open sources — and the text becomes the same as the rest of the issue.
  • Who is already in the issueIf manufacturers respond to the request with their own measurements, the preparation costs more: you will have to look for something that they do not have, or change the request. This decision is made before the contract, at a free inspection.
  • Illustrative partThe comparison table, the sequence diagram, the calculation are done by hand and separately from the text. Often it is they who distinguish the material from the rest of the edition, so we do not suggest throwing them away for the sake of time.
  • Blog template readyIf there is no space in the template for a table, author signature or update date, the article is truncated. We check this at the stage of the plan, so that the modification of the template does not float on the day of publication.
Process steps

Transparent stages with approval at every step

Total duration:5–20 days

  1. Checking the request

1–2 working days, not included in the working period

Let's look at demand, output and whether you have anything to add. Free and with a contract: half of the conversations end with us suggesting another request or saying not to write at all.

  2. Outline of the article

    1-2 working days

Questions in order, volume of each section, places for tables and diagrams, type of answer. Here we check the blog template: does it have a place to put a table, the author's signature and the update date.

  3. A conversation with a specialist and collection of an invoice

    1-3 working days

30–40 minutes of conversation, transcription, clarification in writing. We ask about caveats and limits: what is being done wrong with this product, when it doesn't fit, what numbers are you seeing in your practice.

  4. The draft

    1-7 working days

We write. The answer to the main question is in the first paragraphs, the rest of the text unfolds it. Tables and calculations are collected parallel to the text, and not pasted at the end.

  5. Fact checking and editing

    1-6 working days

Your expert inspects the actual part, we fix. Here is a check for uniqueness: we look at the proportion of matches with the issue, because a match for a single phrase does not prove anything by itself.

  6. Publication, markup and linking

    1-2 working days

Page name, description, headings, Article in the markup, links in both directions: from the article to the category and from the category to the article. We check that the page is open for indexing and entered the site map.

  7. Cut after 6-10 weeks

1 working day, apart from the deadline for writing

We look at the Search Console: which queries resulted in impressions, which ones we did not plan, where people go from the article. This is where the editing of this page or the topic of the next one is born.

Technologies & integrations

What we build on and what it connects to

Stack

  • Checking the demand according to the scheduler gives an order of magnitude; he glues close phrases into groups, there will be no exact frequency of the phrase
  • Issue parsing — shows the expected response format; issue changes, the cut is valid for the date
  • Google Search Console - for which queries the page is actually displayed; the report hides some of the queries
  • Internal search data - buyer's words without intermediaries; where the search is not used, there will be no queries
  • JSON-LD Article — author, date of publication and update in machine format; a search prompt, not a position lever
  • JSON-LD FAQPage - only with a real block of questions: from 2023, Google's extended FAQ block shows mostly state bodies and medical institutions
  • Uniqueness check - we look at the volume of the intersection with the issue, because the coincidence of a separate phrase does not prove anything
  • GA4 — zoom in and move on; blockers and consent mode cut some of the data: it's a trend, not a cash register

Tasks and results in numbers — all metrics measured by us

a niche store of dental supplies with a content section for doctors

Task
Check how the project is arranged, where the information layer works next to a small directory.
Solution
Analysis of the site map by page types with double counting, measurement of the first server response and markup weights. Measured on 07/31/2026.
Result
The site map is an index of four files: 1 main + 21 categories + 96 products + 5 information pages = 123 addresses, zero duplicates. There is a separate layer of materials for doctors on 96 product pages, and it lives under its own addresses. The first server response of 440.7ms with 103.2KB of markup is the second lightest page of the sixteen sites measured. Found defect: there is no counter in the markup - no Tag Manager, no GA4, no Meta Pixel - so the effect of these five pages there today cannot be measured.
What we need from you

We can't start without this — best to prepare in advance

  1. Query or topic. If there is no topic, we will offer several based on demand and show why these are the ones.
  2. A specialist on your side for 30-40 minutes of conversation and for short clarifications during the work.
  3. Access to the CMS or a person who will publish the material and can edit the template if needed.
  4. Understanding which commercial page the article leads to: without conversion, it brings traffic and nothing else.
  5. Access to the Search Console and, if available, to the internal search report: that's where your buyer personas lie.

If something is missing — let us know, we'll help you gather it or do it as a separate task.

FAQ

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

How many articles are needed to have an effect?

The question is not in quantity, but in whether each one closes its request better than the available issue. Ten surface materials give less than two deep ones. We advise you to start with two or three and look at the data after 6-10 weeks, rather than blindly buying a package for six months. In the dental supply store we measured, there are five informational pages for the entire site — and that's enough to have a separate layer for a professional audience.

Is it possible to write an article without our participation?

Technically yes, but then it will be a retelling of what is already on the Internet, and the reader will feel it. The most valuable thing in the material is what others do not have: your numbers, your cases, your caveats. Thirty minutes of conversation with your specialist usually changes the text more than a day's work of the author. If you do not have such a person at all, it is better not to take on the job - there is a separate section about this below.

How does an article differ from a category text?

By human intention. They come to the category when they are ready to choose a product, to the article when they are still figuring it out. Therefore, it makes no sense to sell from the first paragraph in the article, and it makes no sense to tell the story of the question in the text of the category. Mixing these two genres is the most common reason why "there's content, but there's no point."

What themes work in the store?

Those that stand between the question and the purchase. An example from our archives: our own hosiery store had seven pages of guides — how to choose tights, what a tankini swimsuit is, how to tie a pareo, cleaning clothes, brand size chart. Each one answers a separate question and leads to its own category. Nearby, in the same store, there was a catalog for 3,640 products: the information layer does not replace the catalog, it brings people to it earlier.

Is the author's signature required?

In topics about health, law and money - necessarily, and together with the page about the author. In household topics, it is enough to give an update. We put a signature only where a person really participated in the material: fictitious authors are worse than their absence. And separately about the date: mechanically inserting a fresh date without editing the text is not worth it, it is visible and does not give anything.

How quickly does the article start working?

The first impressions are usually visible 3-6 weeks after indexing, stable transitions later. It's not broken: informational pages rank slower than commercial pages. We show the dynamics on Search Console and do not name the dates when the material will "get to the top". Separately, we warn: there is something to measure only where there are counters — a site without analytics gives a feeling, not data.

Are you putting FAQ markup to make the article appear larger in print?

We put, but not for the sake of appearance. From 2023, Google will show an extended block of questions mostly to the websites of state bodies and medical institutions — for ordinary business, the correct FAQPage markup remains in the code and does not add a snippet. Therefore, we write questions when the reader really needs them, and we add markup as a side benefit, not as a goal.

And if the text is first generated by a neural network, and you bring it to the mind?

You can do it this way, and sometimes it turns out faster - but not on the actual part. The model confidently writes believable numbers that do not exist, and it is they who then end up on your site under your name. Therefore, we take the invoice from a conversation with your specialist and compare it before publication. The text collected from the public domain also does not provide what the article is written for: there is nothing of yours in it.

What to do with old articles?

Update, not multiply. It is often more profitable to rewrite a three-year-old article that already has a search history than to publish a new one on the same topic and compete with your own page. We have a separate page about recycling old content - there is also about how not to lose existing items during the update.

Submit a request or topic - we'll see if there's demand for it and who's responding to it now.

In response: the order of demand with a list of clarifications, analysis of issue and plan of the article. Or an honest answer that it is not worth writing for this request, and a related one, according to which the chance is real.

There is no price list on the site on purpose: the same work differs several times over between two clients, and a “from” figure explains nothing in that case. First a free audit — we count your pages, duplicates and speed — then we name the sum and the deadline and fix both in the contract.
